*Update since this review was originally posted: The Miami Flea has now moved back to it's original location, Canvas Miami at the A+E District90 NE 17th Street.

We visited the Miami Flea on 2/18/18, a monthly event that showcases local artists, bands, restaurants, retail, and doggy vendors in Miami's arts and entertainment district. It's located at 1445 N. Miami Avenue and is hosted once a month. It typically includes over 100 vendors, including doggy bakeries, dog boarding/hotels, and of course Wagboss! You can find them on instagram at @miamiflea.

The location is mostly dirt/sand, and there are picnic tables and seats near the stage for you and your pup to rest at. Most of the seats and picnic tables are shaded/semi-shaded, but it is an outdoor event so it can be hot towards the beginning as the event runs from 2pm to 6pm. While walking in between the vendor tents, you can find multiple water bowls for your pup to hydrate, and some vendors (non-dog vendors included) even have bowls of free treats for the dogs. I would still bring a travel bowl for your dog in case they get thirsty, but the vendors are pretty amenable to providing water. Lots of people bring their pups to the event, so if your pup isn't very social it may be overwhelming. We stayed for about 2 and a half hours, walked through vendors (who were all super kind to Dobby!), and sat at a shared picnic table for a while listening to the music while Dobby cooled himself down laying in the dirt under the table :) . It was a great event and Dobby definitely enjoyed himself! He was pooped afterwards; probably a mix of the excitement over meeting other people/dogs and the heat. We're definitely going to return next month!
