Miami Beach Botanical Garden

2000 Convention Center Drive
Miami Beach, Florida 33139
Free Admission!
Open 9-5, Tuesday - Sunday

Grab a blanket, a picnic basket and your beverage of choice because this little oasis will make you forget about the tourist madness that Miami Beach has a tendency to be!

Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a small little luscious garden that is described on their website as "a unique, subtropical oasis of beauty and tranquility within an urban setting..." and that it is!

It is located right behind the Holocaust Memorial on 19th Street making the two attractions perfect to visit at once. Admission is free and dogs are welcomed! Win-win!!

Tranquility is something you are sure to feel as you walk through this place. There is a large patch of grass in the middle where you can set up a little picnic or maybe even do some yoga! The water features in the park including a huge koi pond are so relaxing and make this place feel extra special.

Keep in mind that this is (obviously) not a dog park. This is the type of place that would be ideal to take your furry maniacs to after they've gone for a nice and long walk and you're both ready for a tranquil moment of rest and relaxation. As mentioned earlier, it's a small park with plenty of shade and benches.

We're so happy that this is on our list of dog-friendly places to go!

So check this place out if you're in the area and if you don't live close to the beach then I'd recommend making a stop somewhere else like South Point Park or Lincoln Road before heading home. There are so many dog-friendly options on the beach it's worth making a day out of it if you can.
